Marlies has been a diving professional for almost 25 years. She first trained as a Divemaster and instructor in Dahab before traveling the world while working her way through the professional ranks to the very top! Eventually her heart brought her back to settle in Dahab.
As a CD and active scuba instructor her passion to teach and share the underwater world with others has never diminished. She has established herself as one of Egypt’s (and indeed, the Worlds!) most successful trainers of new instructors as well as still teaching entry level divers.

Ashraf Bashir

Ashraf came to Dahab in 1993 and worked for local business’s and as a desert guide before stating his own business (Sea Dancer) in 2000 in the heart of Dahab Bay. Over the years, Ashraf and his team have established Sea Dancer as a premier dive center in Dahab, with an unsurpassed reputation for safety and professionalism along with the friendliest ‘family-like’ atmosphere.
Ashraf still loves to take people diving and snorkeling, but he regards the desert as his real home and is most happy when he is sharing its beauty and serenity with others
